How To Calculate Your Qua Number.
There are people who would like to follow the perceptions of Fung Shui. The most convenient way of having your own fung shui assessed, is through the service of the masters whether from friends recommending or the websites.
I bet no matter what master you engaged to the assessing of your premise occasionally at certain stage your mind will wonder if you are getting the right master for the job. Inside your wondering thoughts like, am I being overcharged, is this master really good in this ancient art of Fung Shui or shall I follow whatever I was told to do? Lots and lots of questions will keep popping up in your hesitating mind.
However, before you engage any master, you should learn and equip some knowledge on the basic of fung shui. Even though with basic understanding of how fung shui works, you can find them very useful when interacting with the master. That is with your confidence that leads to the understanding and the perceptions of the ancient arts of fung shui. It spells a good combination on the master of the house and the master of fung shui.
The very basic you should know is your personal fung shui ‘Qua’ number. What is Qua Number? Right, the first question you get to ask by the master is what year you are born.
From the numerology calculation of the year born a single digit is attained. There are categorizing in Nine numbers of different elements of Five. The numbers are as below for easy referring.
No. 1 belongs to WATER element,—-House Facing——@ North
No. 2 belongs to EARTH element,—–House Facing——@ South- west
No. 3 belongs to WOOD element,——House Facing——@East
No. 4 belongs to WOOD element,——House Facing——@South-east
No. 5 belongs to EARTH element,—–House Facing—Woman Facing North-east
while—Man Facing South-west
No 6 belongs to METEL element,—–House Facing——-@North-west
No. 7 belongs to METAL element,—-House Facing——-@West
No. 8 belongs to EARTH element.—- House Facing——@North-east
No. 9 belongs to FIRE element——–House Facing——-@South
The Calculation Method
e.g. Year born—1980. Add 1+9+8+0=18, by adding 1+8, you get 9,
For woman add (4) to 9= 13, and 1+3 again is ‘4
Therefore, the Qua no.for woman born in year 1980 is 4 and belongs to Wood element at the area of South-east.
For man born in year 1980 use (11) minus‘4’=7 belongs the element of Metal at the area of West.
From this Qua number, you get the right housing facing position, but there are 4 good and 4 unfavorable areas in any premise. If you are still with me, I shall tell you on my next post.

Bad Luck- How to Cleanse
Ironically, or fated to be, this time we were hit by the crisis of the globe financial problem. What ever reasons found linked of the meltdown, every body was trying to stay afloat in tight manners. For luckier one they may ride through, while mental and spiritual tortures leads to suicide were the answers of the unfortunate. To what I see, there is always a resting point or the breathing gaps to occur naturally once a body is at its fullest level. This is when new strong energy is needed and recaptures in order to move forward to new height. The section of the resting or breathing gaps is just like things get stagnant, slow down or retreated to a comfortable level of its course before moving forwards again.
At this juncture, when negative takes place we call it Bad Luck. As you understand we need to boost ourselves with lots of positives Qi for our luck to be energized again.
When ones facing bad luck, the aural light of a person are weak or dull and the whole body will be covered by negative repulsive forces. With these negative energy surrounding the body, it won’t be surprised whatever you undertake will go against you. It takes weeks, months or even years to recover if you are not aware or getting help from some spiritual guidance.
To the desperate or believers who wish to cleanse themselves off the bad luck, there are different ways to follow. Some people will flock to temples to get blessed from masters, high priests or monks. The most common practiced is by sprinkling blessed mixed color flowers water over you. Some Taoist will gives talisman to bathe or drink.
Here is a recommend of what I always advice to my followers, the simplest ways to get rid of the bad luck.
What you need:-
5 big fresh Yellow flowers put into a (new) pail of tap water
2 rough skin lime, cut into halves and squished them into the water,
Putting a few slices of turmeric into a cup of boiling water to extract the yellow color and add to the above mixture.
Using 2 fingers (the pointing and middle finger) to stir it clockwise, starting 12 o’clock on the mixed water, counting 108 times directly under sunlight or on sunny day.
Splash every scoop of the mixed water from the top of the head for at least 15 minutes. At the same time, you can recite a Tibetan mantra as you bathe in order to get a full good effect of the cleansing.
The Mantra: “Geti Geti Para Geti Para Som Geti Bohdi Soha”. x 9 times
Follow by, “Om Ma Ni Pa Mi Hom.” also x 9 time. This combination is called a cycle.
Relax you mind and think of positives matters when you are bathing. You must always recite them at 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9 cycles at any one time in order to achieve a good blessed cleansing. Throw away the left over, flowers into the sea or the river.
The above spiritual ways to get rid of bad luck are for my serious believers and followers only. The effectiveness of this ritual differs and varies from each individual self.
Nevertheless, if you still facing bad luck after trying various methods of getting rid with no positive signs, this might change you.

All Souls Day falls on April 4th 2009 - Ch’ing Ming.
The meaning of Ch’ing Ming is Clear and Bright and in fact is one of the Twenty-Four Joints and the Breath of the year. It heralds the changing weather which comes just after the start of spring.
This year as the date of festival falls on Saturday the 4th April, as expected large numbers are going back to their respective hometown of where their ancestors were buried. For the convenience, in order to avoid the heavy traffic and crowd, some will pray ten days earlier or ten days later from the actual date, but this is only recommended to those being dead after three years.
This is the major festival of the dead when families go back to their ancestors tombs to honour the dead. It is not surprise to see people flocking to the cemetery before the sun rise on this day. Why? Maybe some want to beat the traffic jams while some would like to avoid the scorching sun.
This is done by clearing weeds from the graves, cleaning up the tombs themselves and making offerings with what they were fond of when alive. Besides, the offering of paper made goods , such as model clothes, branded luxury cars, motorbikes, houses, etc and etc… and the most important of all is the paper Hell’s currency notes, with values in millions and millions. Also the traditional sliver and gold joss paper to be burned and it is believed they then go to the credit of the dead on the other side. Secondly, favorite’s foods that offer to the dead are abundant of various types. After praying, some families would stay back and enjoy the foods.
It is not unusual to see some people letting off firecrackers. I wandered whether they are celebrating for the dead or want to scare the dead. They may not fully understand the power of the exploding sound of crackers is to frightening off spirits wondering around our dwellings. Can you imagine what happen to all the dead or spirits in the cemetery area? I guess instead of coming out from the grave to enjoy the foods, they will be hiding in their tombs.
Remember, firecrackers are for the improving of the Yang energy of the living and not for the Ying surroundings of the dead.
